The Donovans are married!! A beautiful June wedding!

Oh the details…

I haven’t photographed a wedding with this color palette in a while, and I absolutely loved the bride’s choice of soft pastel colors! The pinks and blues complemented The Clubhouse in Huntington, Indiana, so beautifully, especially against the venue’s floor-to-ceiling windows with black trim. The reception space was bright and airy, allowing the pastel details to stand out without overwhelming the space. The couple exchanged vows outdoors in front of a beautiful pond shortly before sunset, adding an extra touch of charm to the day!

Getting Ready, a First Look, and Bridal Party Photos!!

As usual, the Donovan wedding day began in the bridal suite with the girls! I have always loved the excitement of wedding mornings as everyone gets ready together, chats, and celebrates the bride as she prepares for her big day. Once she was ready, we moved into one of the sweetest moments of the day: the first look. First looks aren’t for every couple, but for those who choose to do one, it’s such a special opportunity to slow down and enjoy a quiet moment together before the celebrations begin. Afterward, I gathered the rest of the bridal party for photos before the ceremony!

They’re Married!!

The Donovans had a beautiful outdoor ceremony! The setting was complete with live music, elegant seating, and thoughtful decor, all overlooking a large pond on the property.

Once the happy couple was officially married, we transitioned into the reception! The evening was relaxed and filled with great fellowship, delicious food, and entertaining speeches from the maid of honor, best man, and the newlyweds themselves. It was such a sweet way to celebrate the beginning of their marriage surrounded by family and friends!

Before doing the final send off we wrapped up the day with golden-hour portraits of the Donovans, taking advantage of the beautiful evening light for a few more photos of the newlyweds. It was the perfect way to end such a sweet celebration!
