The second I met Savannah and Hunter they seemed relaxed and totally in the zone. Why? Because we were on their own property in Fountain Inn, SC, surrounded by their horses, their dogs, and the land they know like the back of their hand. I was a guest they were graciously welcoming into their space to document a season of life in a place that is incredibly meaningful to them. And that is such a beautiful thing!!

And honestly, it made a HUGE difference.

Your Story Doesn’t Need a “Pretty Location”… It Needs Your Location

So often couples come to me thinking they need to find the perfect field, the perfect mountain overlook, the perfect backdrop. And don’t get me wrong, I love those sessions too! But there’s something so much more meaningful about photographing people right where their real life happens.

This couple’s property told their story better than any location I could’ve picked for them. The horses they care for every day. The dogs who never leave their side. The open fields they’ve walked a hundred times and will soon be walking with their daughter. That’s not a backdrop, that’s their life, and it deserves to be in their photos.

Animals Make Everything More You

I have to talk about the horses and dogs for a second, because they were basically co-stars in this session. If animals are part of your everyday life, I truly believe they belong in your photos too. They’re not props, they’re family!!

• It’s deeply personal. These photos won’t just be beautiful, they’ll be true to this exact season of your life, in the place you built it.

A New Season, Right Where It All Began

This session was a beautiful reminder that the best photos aren’t always the most polished or the most “Pinterest-perfect” location. Sometimes the best photos are the ones taken right where life actually happens.
