If you ever want dramatic views, golden light, and photos that look like they belong in a magazine, the Blue Ridge Parkway is the place to go!!! When Olivia reached out about her and Robbie’s engagement session, I was SO excited. Not only is Olivia a college friend, but Black Balsam Knob is one of my top favorite places to shoot!!

What the photos don’t show you? It was absolutely FREEZING. The wind up on Black Balsam in mid-April is no joke lol. But Olivia and Robbie were complete troopers and you would never ever guess it looking at these images. The golden hour light that evening was one of those that stops you mid-pose just to take it in!!

These two are getting married at Piney Grove Ranch in the Greenville, SC area later this year and I cannot wait🥺🥺 If their engagement session is any indication, their wedding day is going to be stunning.
