A Timeless & Elegant Wedding at the Old Edwards Inn & Spa | Highlands, North Carolina Wedding Photographer

On March 21, 2026, the Joneses said “I do” at the stunning Old Edwards Inn & Spa venue in Highlands, North Carolina, surrounded by their closest family and friends. Weddings in the mountains always have a special place in my heart and this one was definitely a stunning one!

The celebration began with a sweet welcome party, giving the bride, groom, and their families the perfect opportunity to welcome their guests and kick off the wedding weekend together. With a cool March evening settling over the mountains, guests bundled up and gathered on the stone patio later in the evening, where drinks and light snacks were served. And, of course, no mountain welcome party would be complete without a little something sweet! The cutest s’mores bar gave everyone the perfect treat to enjoy while catching up and soaking in the beginning of such a special weekend.

Absolutely every detail was thought of and executed so perfectly! The Joneses’ wedding day was the sweetest mix of vintage charm combined with modern elegance. The color palette was timeless and sophisticated, with stunning white florals, and lush greenery A beautiful combination that created a soft, romantic, and timeless atmosphere while also feeling fresh and refined.

Every detail, from the white floral and lush greenery to the glass accents and rich brown touches, came together so beautifully to create the most beautiful wedding. The combination of old-world charm with a modern touch made this wedding feel incredibly effortless while still being completely unique to the Joneses.

The bridal party photos captured so much personality throughout the day. The bridesmaids had a relaxing morning in the bridal suite while the bride got her makeup done! Everyone looked stunning in their brown silk and satin dresses, while the groom and his groomsmen had a little fun of their own in an old library study, enjoying cigars together. The setting made for some of the most classic portraits of the day.

Now they’re married!! I honestly cannot even tell you how sweet both of them are! From the moment their wedding weekend began, it was so easy to see how loved they are by the people around them. Getting to witness their union on such a beautiful day was already so special, AND getting to be their photographer made it even better!! I’m so thankful I got to document these memories for them and capture all of the beautiful moments that made their wedding weekend theirs.

I think it is suffice to say that a great time was had at the after party…with a live band, drink, and plenty of food it was certainly memorable. I always love the photos from the after party because the absolute radiant joy is written over the bride and groom’s faces. You can always tell they are enjoying the best night of their lives to the fullest extent!
